Beloved is an educational community for veterans and their families

Our main audience includes:

• partners of active service members and veterans,
• families of military personnel and veterans,
• veterans themselves.

Each month, in both Kyiv and Lviv, our community offers a variety of opportunities, including:

• English classes for all levels, organized in partnership with Green Forest;
• Professional training courses designed to provide the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for a career change or growth. We currently focus on two areas: creative fields (communications, copywriting, management, and more) and skilled manual work (currently, sewing courses);
• Career-focused lectures on professional development, exploring different fields, and building hard skills (grant writing, financial literacy, developing personal social media) and soft skills (CV writing, public speaking);
• Creative workshops like papercutting, clay, pysanka painting, floristry, and candle-making, as well as excursions to help participants find emotional support and new hobbies;
• Book clubs — in Kyiv (with Sens Bookstore) and in Lviv (with The Old Lion Publishing House);
• A business community launched in Kyiv;
• A peer support group in Lviv;
• Cultural events open to all engaged Ukrainians, where we meet with veterans, historians, memory foundations, war journalists and photographers, and researchers;
• Health and wellness sessions—stretching classes in Kyiv and yoga in Lviv;
• We also organize events and training sessions in partnership with, and upon request from, patronage services and rehabilitation centers.
